The very first McKenzie River Solstice Arts Festival is a week behind us. The first day was lovely, if you were a frog. There was a recent hatch and the infield, outfields, track, buildings and even the bathrooms were overrun with baby frogs.

The venue itself wasn't so hot. The only sunshine came from our resilient vendors and dedicated volunteers.

Day two made up for day one in spades. The weather was perfect, the parking lot was filling up and the sawdust was flying from Brittny's booth.
